"I Greet you Brethren, If you see a man who quietly and modestly moves in the sphere of his life; who, without blemish, fulfills his duty as a man, a subject, a husband and a father; who is pious without hypocrisy, benevolent without ostentation, and aids his fellowman without self-interest; whose heart beats warm for friendship, whose serene mind is open for licensed pleasures, who in vicissitudes does not despair, nor in fortune will be presumptuous, and who will be resolute in the hour of danger; The man who is free from superstition and free from infidelity; who in nature sees the finger of the Eternal Master; who feels and adores the higher destination of man; to whom faith, hope and charity are not mere words without any meaning; to whom property, nay even life, is not too dear for the protection of innocence and virtue, and for the defense of truth; The man who towards himself is a severe judge, but who is tolerant with the debilities of his neighbor; who endeavors to oppose errors without arrogance, and to promote intelligence without impatience; who properly understands how to estimate and employ his means; who honors virtue though it may be in the most humble garment, and who does not favor vice though it be clad in purple; and who administers justice to merit whether dwelling in palaces or cottages. The man who, without courting applause, is loved by all noble-minded men, respected by his superiors and revered by his subordinates; the man who never proclaims what he has done, can do, or will do, but where need is will lay hold with dispassionate courage, circumspect resolution, indefatigable exertion and a rare power of mind, and who will not cease until he has accomplished his work, and then, without pretension, will retire into the multitude because he did the good act, not for himself, but for the cause of good! If you, my Brethren meet such a man, you will see the personification of brotherly love, relief and truth; and you will have found the ideal of a Freemason. "

"Brethren, I am pleased to say that our site is finally open and ready for business. At the same time, I am filled with regret that I was unable to open things sooner. To those of my brethren who have offered their support, I am truly grateful for words of consideration and understanding. I am truly sorry to those lodges who have already had a visit by our DDGM and were not announced becasue the site was not open. There is still work to be done...so please bear with me. There are still postings of events that are in the process of being uploaded. Sincerely....Geoffrey S. Allan, Webmaster."

"Congratulations to Geoff Allan, our webmaster for Hamilton Masonic District "C" website. Our website was selected by GRand Lodge as number two in the whole province. Coming only second to a Niagara District. Keep up the good work."
2970 Eduardo J.  Cordero District Deputy Grand Master Hamilton District "C" Hamilton ecordero@cogeco.ca
"Brethren, I leave this office of District Deputy Grand Master for Hamilton District “C” with mixed feelings. The experience has been most rewarding. The lessons that I have learn this year will stay with me for a life time. I leave with a sense of satisfaction because I believe we had a successful year. Although much work is yet to be done; we started to get the district in motion in certain areas. We created new processes. We raised money for a charity ($3,370.00 for the Phelan-McDermond Syndrome Research Laboratories a McGill University in Ottawa.). A number of Lodges had a good year with new memberships. We were response-able to the needs of others when needed. We collected nearly 1000 pints of blood for the Canadian Blood Service. Through out the District we shared good fellowship, refreshment, and fraternal feelings. I would definitely say that there is a great future for Masonry in Hamilton and vicinity; that bright days are ahead of us. That it is our responsibility to lead our fraternity into the future continuing to practice Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. My best wishes to the incoming officers of our district. I am most certain our District is in very good hands. Many thanks go to the following:  Thanks to the District Secretary W. Bro. Reg. Joyce, soon to be V.W. Bro. Reg. Joyce, Thanks to V.W. Bro. John Lyness: a truly dedicated and faithful brother. Thanks to all the Committee Chairman: For their efforts, support and leadership. Thanks to all the Lodges who helped, either with donations to the District Charity or with sponsorships of blood clinics. I also thank all the Lodges who welcomed me and our committee chairmen with open arms and with warm hospitality and respectful protocol during our visits throughout the District. Thanks to all the Brethren who have done work in their respective Lodges for the good of Masonry and for the good of the community. Thanks to all those Brethren who accompanied me to the many visits, for no reason but to show me their support. Brethren, you have no idea how important to me was your presence at these special occasions. I pray to the M.H. to give us the strength to continue to grow and work together towards assisting each other and the communities we live in. Finally my Brethren, as we received new candidates and rejoice in our happy moments, we also had sad moments. As District Deputy, I attended several Memorial Services. I am sorry to say, we lost a good number of our dear Brethren this year. It is in their memory that I ask you to guard a moment of silence for their eternal peace. I thank the G.A.O.T.U. for giving me the strength and all the Brethren in Hamilton Masonic District “C’ for giving me the opportunity to serve as District Deputy Grand Master this year. "

"Brethren: I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the Lodges in Hamilton District "C" for work well done. We still have a few more months to go and a few more lodges to visit before this year comes to an end, but thus far, I feel we have had an excellent year. An increase in the numbers of initiations, substantial growth and development in district and lodge committees, many new faces of young officers into Lodge chairs, but most of all; a clear and amply demonstrated sense of charity towards each other as well as towards the community at large. These could be a few of the ways to define our district today. We have also regrettably lost so many of our dear friends, relatives and Brethren this year. We shall treasure their memories in our hearts and carry the good work of our Craft in their name May the G.A.O.T.U. be with us all.. "
